Welcome to Life Recorder! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application (the "App").

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Use of the App

Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of your parent or guardian to use the App.

License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to:

• Recording individuals without their consent, where such consent is required by law.

• Using the App to harass, stalk, or otherwise harm any person.

• Attempting to interfere with or compromise the integrity or security of the App.

• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App.

User-Generated Content

Ownership: You retain all rights to the audio recordings and any other content you create using the App ("User Content"). However, by using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content solely to provide the services offered by the App.

Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and any consequences that result from its creation or distribution. You agree not to create or share any User Content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others.

Subscription and In-App Purchases

Free and Paid Features: The App may offer both free and paid features. If you choose to access paid features, you agree to the pricing, payment, and billing policies applicable to such features.

No Refunds: All purchases made through the App are final and non-refundable, except as required by law.

Intellectual Property

Ownership: All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use any of our intellectual property without our express written consent.

Feedback: If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas for the App, you grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide license to use such feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.

Automatic Transcription

Transcripts are generated automatically on your device. Accuracy is not guaranteed — transcripts may contain errors or omissions, and we accept no responsibility or liability for them or for any decisions made in reliance on them.

Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer: The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Termination

Termination by You: You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on the App or our website. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
